Cottage Fire – Bolton-le-Sands

Fire crews from Bolton-le-Sands, Carnforth, Lancaster, Morecambe and Preston were all called out to a fire in at a cottage in Bolton-le-Sands on Thursday evening which broke out just before 17:30.

As well as the local fire crews, an Incident Command Unit from Preston was also sent to the fire in a mid-terraced cottage in Highfield Lane, off Mount Pleasant Lane.

The cottage on fire and the properties on either side of it were evacuated and there were no casualties.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but under investigation.
